Computer Upgrades/System Assembly
- Responsible for setting up and assembling computers for a non-profit organization
- Have assembled many computers from board level
- Started with a 286Mhz PC with a 40MB hard drive in 1987
- Upgraded that computer and built numerous others since
- Have performed multiple upgrades to current Pentium 4 2.60Ghz system with 320GB and 80GB hard drives
- Knowledgeable in yesterday's and today's technology to include AGP, SATA II devices, and optical drives
Network Experience
- Worked in the past as a system administrator for both Windows and Macintosh networks
- Have set up multiple wired and wireless networks
- Knowledgeable in the different types of wireless communication from Bluetooth to 802.11b/g/n
Technical Support
- Worked as a help desk technician for over 8 years
- Provided support on multiple desktop applications, including multiple word-processing, spreadsheet, database, desktop publishing, and client/server applications for Windows and Macintosh, such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Access, FrontPage, and Expression Web
- Proficient in programming, including Visual Basic, Access Basic and HTML
- Proficient in use of digital communication devices, including PDA's, digital cameras and cell phones
